About Melissa

Nurturing children comes naturally to me, I have 2 grown sons of my own and 2 step-sons I helped raise since they were small. I now have a 3-year-old granddaughter in Texas. My passion lies in fostering growth and creating a positive impact on young lives while supporting families. I ran an in-home childcare facility in Texas for 10 years so I could be home for my children as well. I am patient, calm, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable caring for two children of any age group and have some college experience. I am happy to follow your preferred communication method to keep you updated on your child's day. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I can assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid Training. Knowing I can make your day easier while enriching your child's life brings me immense joy.
