About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa, and I bring over a decade of childcare experience with children of all ages, from newborns to school-age. I have worked as a nanny, lead toddler teacher, and lead infant teacher. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and am currently pursuing my Master's in Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counseling while completing my internship. As both a mom and longtime caregiver, I provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. My approach is warm, child-led, and inspired by creativity, nature, and mindfulness. I have cared for newborns as young as a few weeks old and supported children through their first years, offering parent and postpartum support along the way. I am CPR and First Aid certified, love animals, have reliable transportation, and I am comfortable with daily routines. I can also assist with light household tasks and meal prep. I'm available on most weekdays with flexibility for occasional weekends.
