About Melissa

Hi! I'm Melissa, and animals have been a big part of my life for many years. I previously owned and operated a horse boarding and breeding farm as well as a tack and feed store, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes. I've cared for horses, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, farm pigs, and cattle, including a baby calf. I'm comfortable with feeding, watering, walks, exercise, turnout, basic barn chores, litter and cage care, and lots of attention and companionship. I'm dependable, patient, attentive, and understand how important it is to follow each animal's individual routine. I currently have three dogs of my own and truly enjoy caring for animals. I'm also a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience, which has strengthened my reliability, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm in unexpected situations. I'd love to care for your pets like they were my own!
