About Melissa

Hi! I'm a nurturing, compassionate, and engaged caregiver with recent experience teaching first grade and working as a paraprofessional supporting a 5-year-old child on the autism spectrum. I create a calm, encouraging environment where children feel safe, supported, and confident being themselves. I enjoy incorporating reading, creative activities, art, play, social-emotional learning, and age-appropriate educational support into the day. When I'm with children, they have my full attention, and I love helping them recognize that they are capable, creative, smart, and unique. I'm seeking a flexible part-time nanny position or ongoing babysitting opportunities. My strengths include observation and safety awareness, encouragement and confidence-building, and attentiveness to each child's individual interests and needs.
