Hello, my name is Melissa. I am a dedicated caregiver with a strong background in both professional and personal care. As a mother of two grown sons, I balanced family life with a career in computer networking, building organization and problem-solving skills. My caregiving began within my own family, including caring for my mother through a debilitating illness requiring advanced wound care and my grandparents with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I have supported loved ones with cancer, cirrhosis, mental illness, heart disease, diabetes, and post-surgical recovery. I bring 11+ years of experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia, along with 6 years in hospice care. I provide compassionate, respectful support tailored to each person's needs, including personal care, companionship, medication reminders, meal prep, errands, transportation, and light housekeeping--always with patience and dignity.
