About Melissa

My name is Melissa. I'm a wife and mother of two boys. I just love interacting with and caring for seniors. I have spent the larger portion of my career in education; however, during the pandemic, I took a job as an Activities Assistant in a nursing home and discovered a love for elder care. So, at this stage, I have decided to make senior care my profession. Along with some personal care, I am very comfortable performing light housekeeping duties, cooking, running errands and transportation to and from appointments. In addition, I love to spend quality time with seniors talking, doing puzzles, reading aloud, assisting with writing letters, walking outdoors, and other companionable activities. I am very patient, kind, honest, optimistic and friendly. It's important to me that seniors, who are often very vulnerable, feel safe and well-cared for with me.
