Melissa has been helping out with my 73 year old Mother who has Alzheimer's for over 2 years now and has made such a world of difference in our home. When I wake up every day and mentally go over what is on tap for that day, the days Melissa is coming I think "it's a Melissa day" and a smile stretches across my face. It means I know my Mom will be well taken care of and I can not worry about her. Melissa not only takes care of my Mom's basic needs such as dressing, grooming and getting meals but she also coaxes my Mom to get some exercise, talks to her all about what is going on in her life to keep my Mom mentally engaged. Melissa helps by taking Mom to doctors' appointments and hair appointments. I trust that my Mom is well cared for and Melissa will report back everything the doctor says. She is a joy to have in our home and a great caretaker for my Mom.
