About Melissa

My name is Melissa and I am looking for a nanny position. I have a great deal of experience in childcare. After highschool I spent a year nannying for a family I had been babysitting for for 7 years. I then worked at a center teaching preschool for 4 years. I started as an assistant and worked my way up to lead teacher of the preschool classroom. During my time there I worked with many different children including children with varying degrees of emotional and behavioral challenges. I have created and implemented behavioral plans that have been a great success in our school. I have taken many early childhood education classes and I am also first aid and CPR certified. After leaving teaching I became a nanny for 18-month-old twins. When the boys were 2 the family added a baby girl. I stayed with them for almost 4 years until the boys entered kindergarten. I am hoping to find a family to work with for a long term position.
