About Melissa

Each and every family I have worked with has been amazing in their own ways. I have grown and learned so much about myself and the children I care for through my 9 years of experience. With each family, I have taken the children on outings(driving my personal car, theirs or on public transit) such as movement/music classes, library story times, etc. I find joy in creating learning experiences for the kids anywhere we are, no matter what age. This can include finding shapes and colors at the grocery store or on a walk, showing examples of interacting with cashiers/neighbors/friends, etc. I also very much enjoy being active within the nanny community and creating connections/support systems with other professionals in my field. I have never been able to truly imagine another career path better suited for me and I feel my energy and effort towards the children I work with really reflects that. I have had a wide range of duties throughout my employment history and am grateful for it all.
