About Melissa

my name is Melissa. Most of my work experience is in teaching, as I have taught school for over 12 years. However, I have decided to stay at home and now I am looking for part time work. In college I did senior care for two years I am , however, very experienced providing senior care. I have contributed to the care of elderly family members. I helped faithfully with my father in law as he battled dementia, and I am now providing regular care to his wife and her sister who are now at that stage in life where declining health is causing them to lose their independence and the ability to care for themselves safely. I am a natural nurturer, and enjoy caring for others. I believe that being respectful, patient, and kind are qualities needed to provide compassionate, quality care to our elderly loved ones.
