About Melisa

I have over 7 years of experience working with children and currently work as an Early Childhood Educator in a kindergarten. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and an Early Childhood Education certification, which help me support children's emotional, social, and developmental growth. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and express themselves. I value play-based learning, creativity, outdoor activities, and respectful communication, and I enjoy helping children build independence and curiosity. I am also currently completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, which has deepened my interest in mindfulness, movement, and well-being. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, and connecting with loved ones. I bring a calm, patient, and positive energy to the families I work with.
