About Melinda

I'm a patient, encouraging educator/tutor with a strong background in early childhood and elementary education, including extensive experience supporting students with IEPs and diverse learning needs. I enjoy helping students across multiple subjects--reading, writing, math, and study skills--by breaking learning into manageable, confidence-building steps. With experience as both a classroom teacher and a Registered Behavior Technician, I tailor instruction to each child's learning style while providing structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I believe learning is most successful when children feel safe, supported, and capable. I offer both in-person and virtual tutoring, partnering closely with families to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
