About Melinda

I worked for a caregiving company for about one year, several years ago. I initially went into the job for extra money but came out of it still thinking about it years later. I had the privilege at the time of caregiving for two elderly individuals. One of the individuals was unfortunately diagnosed with dementia, and the other was more independent, hut needed errands ran for them, help with meals, cleaning their home, while the other simply needed help with bathing, meals, and general conversations. My time with these individuals was really impactful for me. The conversations we had and the laughs were something unmatched with any other job/career I have had, which is why I still think about these memories from time to time. I would love to occasionally do this again when needed and help other families out as much as I can.
