Six+ years of full-time senior care, and I don't bounce from client to client. When I take someone on, I stay. Most recently a 98-year-old Navy veteran. I go to his house every single day, hands-on with whatever he needs: meals, mobility, medications, errands, companionship, spending quality time, all of it. Caring for veterans means something to me personally. There's a history and a respect there I don't take lightly, and he's taught me more about patience than any training ever could. CPR certified, experienced with memory care, and comfortable adapting to changing routines as needs shift. I keep families updated however they prefer, so you're never left wondering how your loved one's day went. I've moved to Idaho to be closer to my son, also a Navy veteran, and a new grandbaby on the way. I'm settling down here for good, not passing through.
