About Melinda

I'm an M. A. educated, (Communications and Theater), mother of 4 grown and independent children, grandma to 2 granddaughters, and a grandson, born in April. They are all local. I enjoy cooking, thrifting, puzzles, music and movies, my baby lion Theadorable, and family and friend time. I share a home with my daughter, a UGA grad and U. S. P. S. employee. I am a decades experienced tutor, teacher, nanny, unschool and progressive homeschool parent, learning facilitator and organizer, including volunteering and hosting teen gatherings. I am a best practices child development and learning advocate. I am preemie and twin care experienced. My specialties include: assisting families in adapting to newborn needs, gentle infant sleep training, nursing mom support, one on one engagement and teaching of all ages, including improving Writing, ESL support (TEFL certified), and testing prep.
