About Melia

I'd describe my personality as fun, diligent, and calm. I love being social and catching up with friends. But I also highly value my quiet time with myself. I like working with kids because it's fun, and I believe that it's a good life skill to have. I'm looking for a job that offers flexibility and a welcoming environment. I started working with kids when I was middle school aged. I grew up with a lot of younger cousins that I enjoyed looking after. In my spare time, I like to go to the movies, hang with friends, and read books. I'm currently a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying furniture design. I have my own car but I also love biking around town. I'm originally from South Carolina, so Savannah isn't far from home. My skills include organization. discipline, and patience. I'm a laid-back person, but when the time comes to discipline, I know how to be upfront. I value clear communication in adults, as well as children.
