About Melany

Hi! My name is Melany, and I'm a sophomore nursing student, working toward becoming a pediatric nurse. I'm looking to babysit this summer to gain more experience working with children and supporting families. I have experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins, including meal prep, supervising playtime, and planning activities like park trips. I also work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing care for elderly patients. This role has helped me develop strong skills in patience, responsibility, time management, communication, safety, and staying calm in different situations. I also have hands-on experience with feeding, bathing, changing, and transferring patients. I am CPR certified, have my own car, and can provide transportation if needed. I am available Monday through Friday and open to weekends. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel confident in my care.
