About Melanye

Hello! I'm a college student with a strong drive as a caretaker. I've worked with children of all ages and animals of all kinds to provide appropriate care and positive experiences. I want to spend my life in service of others and caring for children is one of my greatest joys. Before I moved to NC, I volunteered as a GAL whose mission it is to advocate for undeserved children. This was a light in my life and I hope to go through the training to be certified as a GAL here as well. All's to say, I take supervision very seriously and know that children are absorbing every moment. How I interact with them will be a determinant of what they'll expect from other adults as well. I want them to be able to expect kindness, guidance, a strong sense of safety, and an entitlement to joy.
