About Melannie

Becoming a nanny is a natural extension of my passion for working with children. I've always been drawn to their bright futures and unique talents, and my experience working with special needs children in an elementary school has only deepened this appreciation. Currently, I'm furthering my education with coursework in child development. For the past three years, I've enjoyed providing care that is both patient and calm, as well as creative and imaginative. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time and happily engage in outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and providing light housekeeping. I communicate with parents through written daily reports and verbal updates at pickup, always respecting your preferred method. Learning Spanish has allowed me to connect with even more children though I'm not really as fluent in Spanish as I wish I was but I look forward to bringing my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
