About Melanie

I am a current student in the UCSB, studying for my Master's of Education and teacher certification to teach elementary school! I graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2025 where I studied Psychology. After that, I spent the last year teaching English in Spain in a bilingual primary school. My passion is working with children. I have 8+ years of experience working with children as a babysitter, Sunday school teacher, summer school intern, camp counselor, and English teacher. I absolutely love kids and enjoy babysitting kids of all ages! I am good with dogs too:). Most recently I nannied for a family with two girls aged 9 and 6, and before that a family with three boys aged 5, 7, and 9. I am looking for a babysitting position on the side while I am in graduate school. I am open on weekends and some weekday afternoons/evenings. I am friendly, engaging, and ready to adapt to your family's needs! I am CPR and First-Aid certified, and previously lifeguard certified.
