About Melanie

Hello! My name is Melanie and I am a nanny who is currently pursuing my Bachelors in Clinical Psychology. I have 11 years experience in childcare, starting from volunteering in my church's nursery when I was just 10 years old. I held a baby for the first time, and was instantly captivated. Through Care. com I have worked with 5 wonderful families, with their children ranging from newborns up to 11 years old. I integrate techniques such as Montessori, child-led problem solving and respectful caregiving, to help nurture your child into the best little person they can be! I am more than happy to prepare meals, assist with schoolwork, and provide light housekeeping when necessary. I also speak English and Spanish fluently, have my own transportation, do not smoke and LOVE cats and dogs.
