About Melanie

I'm a first time mom to the happiest 4-month-old boy I've ever seen! I'm hoping to find a family that will let me care for their kiddos while my own child tags along! My maternity leave has come to an end and after 10 years at my current job, I've decided to look for a job that will let me have my kiddo with me. I love camping and doing day trips to the beach and mountains! I'm laid back, love reading, and am very family oriented. I get along with every group of people I interact with, but the misfits of the world have a special place in my heart! I started babysitting when I was around the age of 11. At 17 I moved in with my aunt for a summer and took care of her 4 kids when her youngest was born. At any given time I took care of four to six kids ranging between the ages of newborn to 11 years old. I've since gained experience with my own nieces and nephew(which includes a set of twins). I have experience in taking care of sick children, animals, light house work and running errands!
