About Melanie

To whom it may concern, I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Melanie for many years in the capacity of both friend and as an employee. She worked for my family in the capacity of companion and caregiver for my elderly mother for over five years. During that time, I became aware of her special attributes; among these are her loyalty, dedication and extraordinary work ethic. Melanie was consistently present when expected and often independently dedicated extra hours without the expectation of remuneration. She became a trusted and dependable person in my mother's life and I believe this contributed greatly to the high quality of her last years. She accomplished this despite having a family of her own and raising two young sons, both of whom were actively involved in extracurricular activities. Melanie has an inquisitive mind and is a rapid learner. She was often asked to take on tasks for which she had no prior training. Once educated, she quickly mastered any and all skills needed to not only care for a complicated medically challenging patient, but to also utilize the communicative skills necessary to function within a large facility with many interfacing disciplines. Melanie is well liked and respected by her peers and supervisors. She has a winning personality and a strong sense of humor. I would strongly recommend Melanie for any position she is seeking.
