I have been caring for families and their children for over 20 years. I decided to use Care. com in search for a new family. My current full time care for a family for almost 6 years will be ending soon, the kids are now school ages and their child care needs have changed. I enjoy my days going to park district classes, meeting up for play dates, and getting outdoors as much as possible. In home creative play such as, crafts, baking, games and other play/learning activities. Other responsibilities would include laundry, errands, shopping, cooking, maintaining clean house, dishes and occasional doctor appointments. In past I accommodated days/overnight care. I am looking to join a loving and supportive family and help with child care needs as well as eliminating some of the stress at home of working parents. I enjoy my days with kids and look forward to being apart of their daily routines, milestone, growth and development. I hope to find a good fit with a family that encourages fun day

We loved having Melanie work for us. She was reliable, hard working, detail oriented, and thorough. She constantly communicated so we were in the loop. Melanie was thinking 5 steps ahead of us so we didn't have to. We parted ways because of a life change situation and not due to quality of work.
