About Melanie

Hi, I'm Melanie! I'm originally from California, and I recently moved to Nashville to start my Master of Nursing program at Vanderbilt. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, and eventually I hope to work in psychiatric nursing. Caring for others has always been a big part of my life. I used to nanny during college, and later worked as an academic advisor, so I've had experience supporting both children and young adults. Now that I'm in graduate school, I actually have more free time this semester and wanted to spend it doing something I truly love, working with kids! Outside of school, I love running, reading anything psychology-related, and spending time with my cats. I'd be so excited to support your family while also getting to do something that brings me so much joy.
