My babysitting experience dates back to 14yo. I began watching kids for family members & then became a camp counselor watching 20 kids (5-9 years old) simultaneously. I went to school at UIUC for Nursing, graduated with my BSN & will continue working with children in my upcoming career at Lurie Children's Hospital in the pediatric ED. In college I've had various jobs being a nanny/babysitter with children ranging from infants to teens. Some jobs were sporadic, but others were families I watched consistently during my breaks off. One family in particular (whom I met on Care. com) was extremely special to me. I started sitting full time for their daughter from 7m old for 2 summers and then for an 8m long consistent period & still keep in touch with the family. I am CPR certified and have an amplitude of experience with children and infants in the hospital setting.
