I cleaned houses and babysat all through middle and high school as well as college. I have been a nanny for infant twins for several families and have been managing major retail stores for most my life. I am an extremely hard worker with an excellent work ethic. I love children and love to laugh. I am very outgoing and love life. I pay close attention to detail and will treat your home as if it were my own. I take instruction well and welcome constructive criticism. I truly enjoy making others feel better and love that I can do this with my housecleaning services.

I have employed Melanie for over a year, and couldn't be more happy with her work. Another negative review for Melanie was unfortunately left as some form of revenge, and purported to reflect my views of Melanie. That review could not be further from the truth. Melanie is prompt, does everything I ask, always communicates well, and has become a welcome addition to my family. 

I would give zero stars if I could. I hired Melanie to clean our home, as well as one additional home, 3 days per week. I will begin by saying that neither myself of my (now) ex fiancé, or the second homeowner were ever pleased with the cleaning. I have many many group text messages where we were all three considering firing her, but to be honest, we felt sorry for her. It took at least two months of asking her over and over again to make the children’s beds, dust, clean outside furniture, etc and she would simply just not do these tasks and make an excuse. She would not do dishes. She was frequently (at least once a week) not on time or had a sick child supposedly, or a broken down vehicle/flat tire. We paid her consistently even though she missed several cleanings. I even let her borrow my personal vehicle for weeks when hers was in the shop. I got so incredibly aggravated dealing with her constantly changing schedule that my fiance finally told me to tell her that if she could not remain consistent, we would be looking for new help. She would not use the bissel vacuum that we asked her to use, she would use a dirty mop and water. I finally gave up asking her to do specific things because she just outright would not do them. Every time I would walk into a room she happened to be in, she was on her phone and made some excuse about why. Again, we did not fire her because we felt sorry for her, she will corner you and tell you her sad life story, and we had big hearts and wanted to help her, but don’t waste your money. She also involved herself in our personal affairs as we were separating, which was completely inappropriate. All of this can be backed up by text messages if she tries to convince anyone otherwise. Save yourself the hassle and hire anyone else. 

Melanie watched my daughter for several years and even when she had a lot of things going on personally, she always showed up on time, no matter how early.  If there was ever even the slightest delay due to traffic, she'd always let me know.  I had gone through several caregivers before finding Melanie and she was the longest standing one due to her commitment and genuine care of our daughter.  Our daughter is older now so not needed caregiver anymore so she worked with me all the way until that point.  Highly recommend her.

Melanie is such a sweet person. She did a great job with housekeeping. She was so thoughtful and kind and even though she just cleaned our house, she was always doting on our young baby if he was around. Would definitely recommend her!

Melanie is a nice woman and I hired her to clean our home. I found her to be cordial but preoccupied, using her cell phone at work, not as detail oriented as I prefer. I would not hire her again. She missed quite a few areas which other housekeepers had been more conscientious to regularly clean. I hoped for a self-motivated housekeeper that I did not have to continually direct...one not missing things like corners, sinks, showers, fans etc...and one who could use the correct cleaners after being directed the first time or to ask questions if unsure of what we want. She had to split up her cleaning day and could only give a few hours at a time...then asked to come back. We prefer a more dependable cleaning routine and all work to be finished in one day. Thank you.

Melanie has been a great help.  We are grateful for her ability to assess the needs in our household and jump right in and take care of chores.  Our needs have changed and we will have no hesitation in hiring her again.  We wish her the best.

When I interviewed her over the phone, Melanie clearly communicated her standards and past experience to a degree that made me comfortable with giving her the job.
