About Melanie

I'd describe my personality as honest, fun, patient, kind. I truly enjoy teaching young children!! Early childhood education is my passion. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to teach hands on, pre academic skills. to preschool aged children, either individually or in a small group/homeschool setting. One thing you should know about me is I have over 20 years of experience as a pre kindergarten teacher, pre school director, and I also have my CTE credential in Education/Child Development/ Family Studies which allows me to teach at the HS and adult school levels. I'm also currently completing my last course to receive my Site Supervisor Permit through the state of California. My skills include teaching phonics, Pre Reading/Early Literacy, Beginning Math/Science skills - Also, I incorporate books, stories, songs, themes into the curriculum for better understanding and engagement.
