About Melanie

Melanie worked with our family for just over a year, watching our twin toddler boys from 8-5 Tuesday through Friday. She started with us when the boys were nearly a year old, and she worked with us until about a month after their second birthday. She was incredibly communicative, punctual, reliable and flexible with us, as sometimes we needed extra help depending on my or my husband’s work schedule. I work from home, so I got to see firsthand how loving, patient and kind she was with the boys, and always put their safety as her number one priority. I credit her with teaching them to count to 20, their alphabet and lots of songs with how much she read, counted and sang with them. She got them outside in the stroller when the weather was pleasant, which I know they loved. They learned manners with her like please, excuse me, and thank you. She is incredibly conscientious and thoughtful, helping me with the boys laundry, always picking up after them and helping me stay on top of their meal planning, etc. We always had the plan to get the boys in daycare after they turned two, but it was hard to say goodbye to Melanie knowing how much the boys loved her and how good she was to work with. Melanie was a fabulous caregiver for our boys and really felt a part of our family not long after working together. I learned so much from her as a first-time mom, and I know she would be great resource for any family looking for childcare.
