Hello, I am a mom of five kids who have all grown up now. I enjoy gardening, talking, going on outings and love animals. Currently, I have been with the same family for 8. 5 years. I started out with taking care of a beautiful elderly lady with Parkinson's. My responsibilities included the following: showering, toiletry care, meal prep, medication prep and administering meds, transporting to appointments, light cleaning, transporting with hoyer lift and or sit to stand, catheter care, pressure wounds, companionship and so much more. After she passed away I continued taking care of her husband who had idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other health conditions which required similar care as his wife needed. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melanie. She cared for my Mom and Dad for nearly a decade. It was difficult work as my mother was wheelchair bound and my father had a complicated medical history. Melanie was very reliable, attentive to all their needs and always very kind. Truly a gem . She is 100 percent trustworthy and always exceeded our expectations. We have had a lot of experience with various caregivers and Melanie is a superstar.
