Currently, I have been with the same family for 8. 5 years. I started out with taking care of a beautiful elderly lady with Parkinson's. My responsibilities included the following: showering, toiletry care, meal prep, medication prep and administration, transporting to appointments, transporting with hoyer lift and or stand assist, catheter care, pressure wounds and care, friendship and companionship. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melanie. She cared for my Mom and Dad for nearly a decade. It was difficult work as my mother was wheelchair bound and my father had a complicated medical history. Melanie was very reliable, attentive to all their needs and always very kind. Truly a gem . She is 100 percent trustworthy and always exceeded our expectations. We have had a lot of experience with various caregivers and Melanie is a superstar.
