About Melanie

Hi! I'm Melanie - I'm 22 and a student at the University of North Texas. I've been caring for children, pets, elders, and homes since high school through my church, family, and community. Those early experiences helped me become patient, dependable, and attentive to the unique needs of every household. I studied Early Childhood Bilingual Education and completed my degree in Integrative Studies with focuses in Teacher Education, Sociology, and Women & Gender Studies. I'm now working on my MBA and I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. I've cared for infants, toddlers, and school-age kids, and I enjoy creating routines, planning activities, helping with homework, supporting bedtime routines, and keeping children safe and engaged. I also love cleaning, organizing, pet care, and helping keep your home calm and comfortable. I rely on consistent public transportation and am working toward CPR and First Aid certification.
