About Melanie

Hi! Im Melanie! I'm someone who has always felt at home caring for children. What began as helping raise my younger sisters grew into my own neighborhood babysitting business, and today I'm a full-time daycare teacher while studying Early Childhood Education in college. Every step has only reaffirmed that this is where I feel most fulfilled. I'm naturally curious, grounded, and a little artistic at heart. I love painting, sculpting, writing poetry, making music, reading, hiking, and finding beauty in the little things. I believe children deserve to feel heard, safe, and celebrated for exactly who they are, and I strive to be a calm, encouraging presence in their lives. My hope is that families see me as more than a babysitter! someone their children are excited to see, and someone they can trust wholeheartedly.
