I am available for childcare, special needs, and eldercare in the Chantilly, VA area M, Tu, Th, F 8 AM-2:30 PM, and W 8 AM- 1:30. My experience with children extends over decades: babysitting, caring for 2 foster children, and raising my own 4 children. I share with them my love of nature, music, and books. Several of them had challenging conditions, including attachment disorder, ADHD, and Down syndrome. I have done eldercare in two capacities: as a CNA during college & grad school in a nursing home setting AND providing care to my mother as her dementia progressed. For several years, I provided p-t care in her home, and 24/7 care for her last 2 years in mine (showering, dressing, bathroom, taking daily walks, meal preparation). Also, I saw to her enjoyment of the things that delighted her: books, music, and birds on the feeder. I can care attentively for your loved one--whether an infant or of advanced years.
