Melanie D was a live-in caregiver for my 94-yr-old mother for just over a year. After living 8 years by herself with increasing dementia and occasional agency caregiver visits, Melanie’s arrival was transformative for my mom. It was a perfect fit, and I could not have been happier with the excellent level of care and engaged companionship she provided my mom. Melanie is a total professional. She is very experienced working with clients with dementia and does so with patience and compassion. She has experience attending to a full range of health and hygiene needs. Normally a reserved person, my mother responded so well to Melanie’s upbeat and cheerful demeanor. For me, Melanie proved to be an extremely trustworthy partner and excellent communicator. She provided valuable input and observations regarding mom’s health and habits. Without question, my mother’s physical health improved over the year because Melanie loves to cook! Where I had routinely failed, she got mom to eat nutritious, delicious, and interesting meals. I offer my strongest recommendation of Melanie.
