About Melanie

I have worked in Elder Care for 3 years, through agencies and now privately. My own parents have passed, and my sons are college grads; 23 and 30. I am joyously single, but enjoy being helpful through relationships. I'm not desperate for money, but sometimes find a person who I really like, who needs some help.... and I can make some extra money ;) BS Child Development & Family Studies, MA Lifespan Human Development; retired from Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Counseling. I prefer Direct Care to Administration, and also don't want work with a bunch of Paperwork. I just want to Be with the clients! I have 1 client right now who I've been with since Aug. 2025, and I have time I could devote to 1 more caregiver need. I work days as a Special Education Para for CPS, but could help with dinner through bed- time, or overnights until 6 a.m. if *mostly* sleeping shifts.
