About Melanie

I have completed a certification in Early Childhood Education, giving me a foundation for supporting children in reaching their age appropriate milestones. With direct head start experience, I learned head start's classroom standards that prioritize safety and wellness. I value the longterm impact of healthy and nurturing childhood development. I had the opportunity of being an instructor's aide for the Early Childhood Development program at EVIT, where I mentored high school students and graded coursework. I'm patient and flexible, and I enjoy spending time with children through engaging activities such as cognitive games, arts, and educational play. I'm comfortable maintaining household routines and I keep parents updated through their preferred communication methods. I'm CPR & First aid certified and have my AZ finger print clearance card.
