About Melanie

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With two years of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, Computers, Business, and History for elementary and middle school students. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. I keep you engaged by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and breaking challenges into manageable steps. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building a collaborative environment for success. Nothing beats witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or any convenient local center. I truly look forward to helping you reach your goals.
