About Melanie

Hello! My name is Melanie. Working with kids is my lifelong passion, so I'm truly excited to connect with you and your family. I have over a decade of experience in childcare with children of all ages and backgrounds. I have professional experience as a youth counselor, caregiver, nanny & behavior technician for kids with special needs. My areas of expertise are therapeutic techniques, behavioral de-escalation and trauma-informed care. Treating your child with gentleness and respect is one of my core values as a caregiver. On a personal note, I am also a parent to a 6-year-old and know firsthand how important trustworthy care is! As parents, we all need time to ourselves. When we work together, you can feel confident and even excited that your child is having a positive, enriching experience! I hope that we can build a trusting and collaborative relationship.
