About Melanie

Hi there! My name is Melanie, I've tutored kids in Math, English, Spanish, and Science, and I've also had hands-on experience caring for newborns. Currently, I work at the Florida Museum of Natural History, where I get to spend my days interacting with little explorers and sparking their curiosity about the world around them. I'm also pursuing a degree in Biology and Chemistry because I have a huge passion for learning and science, and I love sharing that excitement with kids! Fluent in Spanish and always up for a fun adventure, I enjoy being outdoors, playing, and making learning exciting. Safety is a top priority for me: I received CPR and first aid training while volunteering with my local fire department in high school, where I even did ride-alongs on fire rescues!
