I have over 4 years of experience working at a small preschool with children aged 1-7, where I was responsible for providing a safe and enriching environment. At one time, I usually was looking after 6 children. Throughout the past 5 years, I have been an informal on-call sitter for around 20 families. I have an amazing brother who is special needs, who I have taken care of and tutored for many years! I am patient, calm, & easygoing, while also maintaining an empathetic and principled approach. I enjoy doing anything fun that interests the children I'm caring for- board games, arts & crafts, music, sports, etc. Open communication is key to me, which is why I prioritize the needs that parents / guardians voice. I am a graduate student at Columbia University. I am looking for a part-time gig and very open to date night sitting/as needed sitting. I consider myself to be flexible and reliable-so as a nanny/sitter I'm genuinely committed to making the lives of my families easier.
