About Mekennah

Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to get to know me. My name is Mekennah. I'm a mom to a sweet1-year-old, a Navy veteran, and someone who has always had a heart for working with children. I earned my AA last year and I'm currently working toward my Bachelor's in Exceptional Student Education, with the goal of opening my own small home-school cohort in the future. I've been caring for kids since I was a teenager and continued working with children throughout high school and again after leaving the military. People who know me often say I have a natural gift with kids. I build strong bonds, create a sense of safety, and balance being both an authority figure and a trusted friend. I love helping children feel understood, supported, and confident as they grow.
