About Mekena

Hello family! My name is Mekena, I am currently in school getting my BA in psychology with the eventual goal of being a pediatric occupational therapist. I have worked in childcare for 3 years. I have worked with ages as young as 1 to 15. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. I carry my CPR, First Aid, and my food handlers. I have reliable transportation. The 3 words I would use to describe my personality are silly. I like to describe myself as a professional silly goose especially when playing with kids. I love to make up fun games that keep kids entertained. The other 2 words I would use to describe myself are creative and structured! I like working with kids because of how fun it is! I love making silly games and making kids laugh, smile, and just have fun! I started working with kids originally babysitting when I was 13. I started working with kids professionally when I was 18 and I have 3 years of experience.
