About Meg
Hi there, my name is Meg and I'm an compassionate and creative 32-year-old! I started out in medical school, switched to a career in data science, and am now pursuing a degree in clinical mental health counseling after reconnecting with my passion for child welfare and family mental health. I'm looking for a part time position and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. I have experience caring for the children of my family and friends ranging from 6 months - 10 years. I was a certified EMT in college and will be renewing my CPR certification. My focus is on giving your child a safe, dependable, and creative environment to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love pretend play, baking, crafts, board games, and outside time when appropriate. I'm compassionate to the big emotions children work through, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to read, spend time in the pottery studio, cook, and ski.

Meg has known my son since he was about 3 weeks old and has been such a supportive and fun-loving presence in his life! He is now 18 months old and loves being around her! She kindly babysat for him (when he was around 15 months old) so I could get out of the house for dinner and a movie. She fed him his dinner, read him stories, did bedtime, followed all my requests to a T, and he went down for her with no fuss at all. She is comfortable with my dog too which is a huge plus. I would re-hire her to babysit anytime. Meg is very creative and will lead our friend group in art projects such as pinch pottery or painting - I think this would be a great benefit for any child who likes to make art. She loves to get out to explore new places, go for walks, and enjoy all our awesome local parks so she would be a great match for a child who loves to be active.
