About Meghan

For the past 10 years, I have been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. With a college degree and experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Science, Special Education, Study Skills, and History for elementary, middle, and high school students. I am also well-versed in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach is rooted in building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I actively listen to students, observe their interactions, and encourage open communication to understand their unique learning style. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and breaking down complex problems, I keep students motivated and engaged. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and progress. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom.
