About Meghan

Hi! I am currently a reading tutor in public school and I am eager to continue to tutor over the summer as well. I have a Master's in Education and 16 years of teaching experience. I absolutely love kids and consider myself to be a fun and engaging teacher. I love to focus on main goals while also incorporating games at the end of each tutoring session. I rocked teaching virtually during Covid, so my virtual tutoring is strong as well! I am an advocate for my students and their individual strengths : ) I'd describe my personality as engaging, creative, and kind. I like tutoring because I can focus on the students individual needs and cater to their strengths. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated and have years of positive experiences teaching and tutoring children. My skills include knowing my students and identifying where they need help but also reinforcing known skills, I am positive and make tutoring fun, and I am easy to talk to.
