About Meghan

Hi, my name is Meghan! I have been babysitting for 5+years for family, friends, and local families. I am an energetic, reliable, communicative, and creative sitter. I enjoy the outdoors, playing cards/board games, and doing arts and crafts! I can provide homework help, meal preparation, and light housework. I am also comfortable with pets. I have a valid Infant-Adult CPR/AED Certification and valid references, in which I can provide both. I was enrolled in Introduction to Early Childhood Education at Woodgrove High School. During that course, I have completed training in HighScope Curriculum. I am a Certified Mandated Reporter through VA Department of Health and Services and attended a seminar on Conscious Discipline. My work in the on-site preschool at Woodgrove has allowed me to interact with preschool aged children, guide behavior using Conscious Discipline approaches and teach the children using the HighScope Curriculum. I am also familiar with the Montessori Method.
