About Meghan

Hi, I'm Meghan. I am 30 years old. I am a certified teacher with the state of FL for grades K-6. I also have my ESOL endorsement from the state of FL. Previously I worked within Duval County Public Schools as a classroom teacher. I have 7 years experience working with children across the K-5 grade levels and across all subject areas. I have a love for teaching reading, and specialize in teaching foundational reading skills; including 7+ years experience working with children who are behind grade level and need targeted intervention. Currently I am taking some time away from the classroom, to explore the world of private tutoring and homeschooling! I also do still work with two of DCPS' elementary schools, who have contracted me part-time to do some reading tutoring in their buildings during the school day.
