About Megan

I am an ICU nurse working in a Nashville hospital. Until recently I worked at a local children's hospital in the NICU and newborn nursery but I decided to switch back to the adult side of nursing to develop more skills. This switch back to caring for adults has left me missing my daily interactions with children which has brought me back here to Care. com. I graduated from Lipscomb University with my BSN and I've been caring for children since I was 12 years old. I have cared for the smallest NICU preemies up to coaching and mentoring high school teenagers. I am comfortable around all ages of children. I am very upbeat, organized and I love nothing more than engaging a child in activities and learning through application. I have experience babysitting, nannying, tutoring, mentoring and coaching (and of course nursing). The largest family I have cared for was a family with 9 kids so I am very comfortable with multiple children and hectic schedules! I also have experience traveling across the country with a family as both a nanny and a "parents helper". I would love to see if I am the right fit for your family!
