I have over 4 years of combined experience working with children of various ages. I enjoy being creative, doing activities outdoors, and exploring new ways to help expand a child's learning experiences. I enjoy learning new things myself, and love passing that same attitude on to children. Currently, I work part-time at an art school for children, and teach classes for toddlers and elementary aged students. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from university. I have experience working with youth in a Therapeutic Foster Care whom all had mental health and/or disruptive behavioral disorders. My attitude is positive and very strength-based in thinking. I believe there is something gifted in every child, and believe in promoting positive reinforcement. I am a flexible and easy going person in nature who can stay calm in stressful situations. I am also current on my CPR/First Aid training. I am currently available part-time and occasionally. I also could coordinate doing arts & crafts days that could be fun for play-dates, birthdays, or any time.

I love having Megan watch my kids. She has truly been a blessing to our family. She cooks, and cleans, and does laundry, too. A dream come true for me. She just takes care of things and doesn't need to be directed on every single thing. She has cool ideas, art projects and field trips for my 1-year-old and 3-year-old. They both can't wait for her to come back. I can't say enough good things about her. It is so nice to come home to a clean house, happy kids and and a peaceful setting. I completely trust her and I feel very comfortable talking to her as well. I highly recommend hiring Megan.
