About Megan

Hello, my name is Megan and I am an experienced caregiver available to provide part-time care in the home. I have 12 years of experience as an occupational therapist and caregiver and I feel confident that I can meet your needs. I have experience providing care to individuals with a variety of conditions including but not limited to: dementia/Alzheimer's, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, orthopedic injury and repair, autism, developmental delay, and more. I am happy to provide companion or respite care so that you may leave the house to attend to other matters without worry or concern for your loved one. I can provide training to you and your loved one to overcome challenges within the home and help build systems to make caregiving less of a strain. I can do environmental assessments and provide recommendations for increasing safety and independence within the home. And I am happy to provide companion assistance for appointments and other outings
